Why won't my Cattani air compressor work ?

• Check the power lead to see if it's plug in and the power switch on the wall is switch on
• Check the on/off switch on the panel ( pressing the big red button will switch off the air compressor )

Just to make sure Press that big red button we know you want too (this will turn the compressor off) Now if you look at the big red switch you see a panel and a latch ,squeze it to open the panel 

once you open the panel their is a red and black button ,press the black button to turn your air compressor back on and close the latch door back into place  

If you find this does not solve the problem then you would need to call us as the compressor may have an electric issue and we don't want our client getting an electric shock

Is it simple to change the air compressor filter myself 

Please note: there is one filter in each cylinder. The code number for these filters are K168563

Listed below is the number of fillers need for your model air compressor and it best to replaced then every 6 to 12 months

Step 1

Switch the power off to the compressor -Safely is the key here This will prevent the air compressor from running when you are changing fillters and won't scare you if the air compressor kicks in.

Press the big red button on the side control panel will switch the power to the air compressor unit.

Step 2

The Black filter cap at the end on the cylinder will need to be removed and sometime may be very tight and you will need to grasp this and pull and twist in a up wards motions

Step 3

Take the black filter cap off the old filter and dispose of this filter- Don't throw out the Black filter cap as we require it ,place the new filter into the black filter Cap

Step 4

With your pointer an index finger at the base of the filter ,use your thumbs to force the outer part of the black filter cap onto the filter section of the air compressor unit

Step 5

Now the test ,You need to turn the power back on to inspect your work and this is very simple to do  Firsty  look at the big red button  next to it is a latch type lock you need to squeze it to open the panel ,once you open the panel their is a red and black button ,press the black button to turn your air compressor back on  and close the latch door back into place  

Step 6

Write on postal or tag the date you replaced the filter and when the next one is due and order extra filter to keep on hand . Part number is K168563
